Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Part-time Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for licensed pharmacists to provide essential medication management and patient care services in a dynamic clinical environment. Duties
- Dispense prescription medications accurately in accordance with physician orders and legal guidelines
- Provide medication counseling and education to patients regarding proper usage, potential side effects, and interactions
- Review patient medication profiles for appropriateness and potential drug interactions
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize medication therapy plans
- Maintain meticulous documentation of prescriptions, patient interactions, and inventory records
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and hospital policies
- Assist in medication administration processes when necessary, especially in acute care or pediatric settings
- Participate in medication reconciliation and review processes during patient admissions and discharges
- Support the training of pharmacy interns or new staff members as needed
Skills
- Valid pharmacist license with current registration in the state of practice
