At Angstrom Engineering, we sell industry-leading thin film deposition systems that can be
custom designed and are assembled on-site by a team of engineers and technologists who
prioritize quality, service, and performance above all else.

We are a growing company looking to break into new markets and to increase our international
presence. To assist us in meeting our goals we are offering a position for a Manual Machinist to
be part of our assembly team. The ideal candidate will be a people person that can operate a
variety of machines to perform assigned tasks. They will also show a keen interest in learning
new technologies and taking ownership for improving products and processes.

QUALIFICATIONS OVERVIEW:
  • Ability to run machine shop equipment, lathe, milling machine, drill press, saw and TIG
welding equipment.

  • Resourceful with a proven ability to complete tasks within predetermined deadlines.
  • Good work ethic with a positive attitude and desire to work as a team.
  • Work in a manner that garners respect from your peers and makes others around you
better.

  • Ability to take initiative to stay on top of things to allow work to flow smoothly in a busy
work environment

  • Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments (e.g.,
micrometers, calipers)

  • Adjust and set up mechanical devices such as transfers, manipulators, and actuators.
