Summary,
Repair Planner is responsible for the complete repair cycle of damaged vehicles. Repair planner must be highly organized with the ability to keep multiple tasks on target. This position must be adaptable to the constant change in the repair process. Excellent communication with all departments in the collision center is essential. Shop Production must be able to manage people and prioritize the workload. Good computer skills and an understanding of estimating software are required. Certified journeyperson preferred.
Responsibilities
Assess vehicle damage and write complete, accurate repair estimates
Order parts and verify accuracy against repair orders
Coordinate with insurance adjusters on approvals and supplements
Build and manage repair schedules across body, paint, and mechanical departments
Communicate daily with technicians to keep repairs on track
Update customers and insurers on repair status and timelines
Ensure repairs follow OEM procedures and safety standards
2–3+ years of experience in collision estimating or repair planning
Experience with Mitchell, CCC ONE, or Audatex estimating software
Journeyman Auto Body Technician certification an asset
Valid Saskatchewan driver's license
Strong organizational and communication skills
