Position Summary:
The Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects according to defined timelines, scope, and budget. This role ensures projects align with organizational goals, manages cross- functional teams, and communicates progress to stakeholders. The Project Manager serves as a key driver of operational efficiency, risk management, and strategic initiatives for the College.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and allocate resources effectively to achieve project milestones
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders and senior management
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, resolving issues promptly to minimise impact
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including reports, plans, and deliverables
- Facilitate project meetings, track action items, and ensure accountability across teams
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and accreditation standards
- Evaluate project outcomes and implement lessons learned for future initiatives
- Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and external partnerships as required
- Support strategic initiatives, including process improvements and operational efficiency projects
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field; PMP certification preferred
- Minimum of 3 – 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in education, healthcare, or related sectors
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
- Superior verbal and written communication skills, including stakeholder reporting
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365(Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Adobe (PDF, Express, Lightroom), project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana, or Smartsheet), and collaboration tools
- Strong understanding of budgeting, resource allocation, and risk management
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
- Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS), including implementation, administration, or LMS-related projects, is considered an asset.
