Room to Bloom Therapy Centre is looking to hire a Communicative Disorders Assistant (CDA or SLP-A) or a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our growing team. We are a multi-disciplinary therapy centre with speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, ABA therapy, and psychotherapy.
This independent contract position will be part-time on your availability. The position will be for mainly in-home services in the Brampton area (close to Bolton).
The candidates who apply should have an interest working with ages 0 – 18 years of age with a focus on early intervention, articulation, literacy, and working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and their families.
CDA/SLP-A Job duties consist of:
- Providing intervention and parent coaching under the supervision of a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Collaborating with team members in-clinic and in the community
- Providing play based, routine based, and family centered care
- Maintain records using the electronic charting system
- Creating your own flexible schedule to accommodate your clients
- Building a strong rapport with families
- Client intake
- Material preparation and programming
SLP Job duties consist of (additional to above):
- Completing assessments, consultation, discharges when appropriate
- Conducting assessment and writing reports
Qualifications:
- Certification with CDAAC or CASLPO is a requirement

Pay: $40.00-$70.00 per hour
