Job Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic, detail-oriented Recruiter to manage full-cycle recruitment and support with onboarding across the U.S. and Canada. You'll collaborate with managers to meet hiring needs, develop strategies, and ensure an excellent candidate experience in compliance with employment standards.
Objectives of this role:
- Develop and implement effective strategies to attract diverse, qualified talent.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and meet competitive hiring goals.
- Assist in creating and refining recruiting and onboarding procedures.
- Suggest improvements to enhance HR efficiency and candidate experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all phases of the recruitment process, including job posting, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and extending offers for roles across the U.S. and Canada.
- Proactively source talent through multiple channels (e.g., ATS, job boards, LinkedIn, social media, employee referrals) and build a strong candidate pipeline.
- Work with hiring managers to define job requirements, draft accurate job descriptions, and create recruiting materials.
- Ensure recruitment and onboarding comply with U.S. and Canadian labor laws.
- Oversee interview process, including developing and updated all interview materials.
- Manage offer process, including preparing offer letters and completing pre-employment checks.
- Assist in the onboarding process, working with HR team to ensure smooth onboarding experience.
- Support DEI goals by recruiting diverse candidates and fostering an inclusive hiring process.
- Track recruitment metrics and suggest strategies for HR efficiency and improve the candidate experience.
Key Qualifications:
- Experience as a Recruiter for a minimum of 2 years is required.
- Advanced knowledge of ADP and ability to learn new technical systems, when necessary.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ethics, and cultural awareness.
- Aptitude for problem-solving and knowledge of HR procedures and policies.
- Resourceful mindset and strong attention to detail.
- Knowledge of national laws and regulations related to recruiting.
- Knowledge of U.S. and Canadian labor laws preferred.
