Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Youth Leader to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching first aid and CPR courses to individuals of various ages. This role requires a passion for education, strong communication skills, and the ability to create an engaging learning environment.
Key Duties
As a certified instructor, your responsibilities will include:
- Assess students' understanding of the material through practical demonstrations and written evaluations.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of first aid protocols and emergency response techniques.
- Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages participation and engagement.
- Provide feedback and support to students, helping them improve their skills and confidence.
- Collaborate with other instructors to enhance course offerings and share best practices.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and organizational standards during training sessions.
Required Qualifications:
Preference will be given to candidates who also hold one or more of the following:
- Red Cross Youth Leader Certification
- Red Cross Standard First Aid Certification
Training will be provided, weekday & weekend availability is required.
Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
