About Us
Cameco is one of the largest global providers of the uranium fuel needed to energize a clean-air world. We have mining operations and projects in northern Saskatchewan, Kazakhstan, the United States and Australia. We are also a leading supplier of uranium refining, conversion, and fuel manufacturing services from our operations in Ontario.
The Role
Cameco has a great opportunity available for an enthusiastic, motivated student to be a part of a diverse team. In this role you will be responsible for supporting all our northern Saskatchewan operations.
In this role, you will:
- Manage inventory materials by generating reports, analyzing data, consulting with subject matter experts on corrective actions and making decisions. Create and manage requests for changes.
- Informing purchasing to cancel orders, changes to material data, reducing inventory and returns to vendors. Maintain records and provide data reports to stakeholders.
- Coordinate and manage site activities such as training, identification of surplus and obsolete inventory and updating all material data.
- Analyze various statistical reports, problem solve and make recommended decisions.
- Create material master for project materials. This involves coordination with Asset Management and Procurement Team
Required:
- Enrolled in a two year diploma program in materials management or accounting and will be returning to school for the academic semester following your work term with Cameco.
Strong aptitude for computer applications such as databases or Excel

Bachelors degree in Commerce majoring in accounting, supply chain, or management will be considered an asset
