Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Controller to oversee our company's financial operations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in accounting, financial reporting, and managing accounting software systems. This role is vital in ensuring accurate financial records, compliance with regulations, and strategic financial planning to support the company's growth. The Financial Controller will lead the accounting team and collaborate with senior management to provide insightful financial analysis and forecasts.
Duties
- Manage all accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities.
- Oversee the preparation of financial statements and reports in accordance with regulatory standards.
- Conduct account reconciliations and account analysis to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
- Implement and maintain accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, or other relevant platforms.
- Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial plans to support business objectives.
- Ensure compliance with tax laws, audit requirements, and internal controls.
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes efficiently.
- Collaborate with external auditors during audits and prepare necessary documentation.
- Provide strategic insights based on financial data to assist senior management in decision-making.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar senior accounting role.
- Strong proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, and other relevant platforms.
- Extensive knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
- Experience managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and account reconciliation processes.
- Demonstrated ability in budgeting, financial analysis, and account analysis.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA certification is preferred. This position offers an opportunity to play a key role in shaping the financial health of our organization through expert management of our accounting functions and strategic financial planning.
Pay: $66,625.86-$133,286.57 per year
