Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Retail Store Manager to lead our store operations and drive business growth. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, retail management expertise, and excellent communication abilities. This role involves overseeing daily store activities, managing staff, ensuring exceptional customer service, and implementing effective merchandising and sales strategies to meet business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise store staff, including recruiting, training, and developing team members to ensure high performance and excellent customer service.
- Oversee daily store operations, including cash handling, cashiering, POS transactions, and inventory management.
- Develop and execute merchandising plans to optimize product placement and pricing strategies that enhance sales.
- Manage purchasing decisions and coordinate with suppliers to maintain stock levels aligned with sales forecasts.
- Implement marketing initiatives to attract new customers and retain existing clientele.
- Monitor sales performance and develop action plans to achieve sales targets.
- Conduct regular staff meetings, performance evaluations, and training sessions to promote team development.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety standards, and store procedures.
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints efficiently, and foster a welcoming shopping environment.
- Maintain accurate bookkeeping records, oversee budgeting processes, and manage payroll administration.

- Proven experience in retail management with strong supervisory skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and lead a team effectively.
- Proficiency in POS systems, cash handling, pricing strategies, and merchandising techniques.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
- Skilled in negotiation, purchasing, marketing, and sales management strategies.

- Experience in recruiting, interviewing, training & development of staff.
- Competent in budgeting, bookkeeping, administrative tasks, and time management.
- Customer service orientation with excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills.
- Leadership qualities combined with strategic thinking for store growth initiatives.
