Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Specialist to manage and oversee payroll processes within our organization. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate and timely processing of employee compensation, maintain compliance with relevant regulations, and support HR and finance teams with payroll-related data management. This role requires strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a solid understanding of human resources management systems. The Payroll Specialist will play a critical role in maintaining employee satisfaction through precise payroll administration and effective data handling.
Duties
- Process payroll using systems such as Workday, Dayforce, ADP, Ceridian, UltiPro, Kronos, Oracle HCM, SAP SuccessFactors, or PeopleSoft.
- Ensure accurate data entry related to employee hours, wages, benefits, and deductions.
- Manage change management initiatives related to payroll system updates or process improvements.
- Administer employee records within HRIS platforms and ATS for recruiting and onboarding purposes.
- Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure compliance with tax laws, labor regulations, and company policies.
- Support talent acquisition efforts by integrating payroll data with recruiting platforms like iCIMS or Lever.
- Conduct data collection and analysis to identify payroll discrepancies or errors.
- Assist in training & development initiatives related to payroll systems and HRIS tools.
- Maintain employee relations by addressing payroll inquiries professionally and promptly.
- Support project management activities for payroll system upgrades or process enhancements.
- Generate reports for management on payroll metrics and compliance status.
Requirements
- Proven experience working with payroll systems such as Workday, Dayforce, ADP, Ceridian, UltiPro, Kronos, Oracle HCM, SAP SuccessFactors, or PeopleSoft.
- Strong knowledge of human resources management practices and HRIS platforms.
- Familiarity with change management principles and project management methodologies.
- Experience with talent acquisition tools like ATS platforms (iCIMS, Lever) is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration across departments.
- Proficiency in data entry, data collection, and report generation.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in administrative tasks.
- Prior experience in employee relations or HR sourcing is advantageous.
- Knowledge of payroll compliance standards and labor laws.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred; relevant certifications are a plus.

Pay: $53,000.00-$84,076.30 per year
