Logistics Coordinator will work closely with Sales Team and Production Team to coordinate shipments and bulk shipments within the Atlantic Provinces, between LP’s and the Zenabis warehouse. The Ideal Candidate will have excellent organizational skills, communication skills, problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
Manage Relationships with Transport Carriers
Approve Transport/ Freight Quotes
Communicate with Transport carriers to ensure prompt pickup and delivery of shipment
Arrange delivery appointments
Create Shipping Labels
Review Purchase Orders and create Packing slips and other relevant documentation
Streamlines shipping and transportation processes
Developing and maintaining filing systems so as to maintain sales records, prepare reports, and provide financial information to the finance department.
Work cross- functionally with multiple departments
Communicate updates and issues accordingly
Attention to detail and excellent time management skills
Strong organisational skills
Excellent verbal and written skills
Problem solving skills
Minimum of 3 or more years’ experience in a similar role
Experience as a Logistics Coordinator or in administration may be advantageous.
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Excellent written and written communication skills and presentation skills
A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field; certification in sales or marketing will be an asset
The ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment, and meet deadlines.
Strong ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
Current knowledge of industry trends and regulations.
Commensurate with experience and qualifications
Security Clearance may be requested for this position
Salaried Position - Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm. Some evenings and weekend work may be required.
