Audience Monetization Specialist is a unique role that is categorized into 3 different sets of responsibilities
The primary role of Audience Monetization Specialist is to provide to support to the sales, account management teams but also to work with clients and internal cross-functional teams. This includes communicating DMP capabilities and provide strategic recommendations, audience activation, troubleshooting segmentation related issues, creating insights and reports, training other team members, etc.
Data Management Platform
On the DMP front the successful candidate would be working on multiple DMPs, including Permutive, Internal Proprietary DMP, Google Audience (GAM), Adobe, etc.
This role involves special project work such as enabling data cross-platform on all Bell Media inventory
Building Custom & Pre-Build audience segments for clients, providing insights and sales collateral and post-campaign reporting
In addition to being a champion in Sales Support, DMP specialist, the successful candidate will be working on backend on the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Looker to build, maintain and automate Dashboards for the business
Running SQL queries on Google Big Query, Google Cloud Storage, Looker Dashboards
Job Duties / Accountabilities:
Maximizing Bell Media’s First Party Audience Revenue
Building & Activating First Party Pre-Built/Custom Segments
Providing Sales/Account Management/Clients with support they need to achieve their campaign goals
Manage day-to-day DMP operations
Provide post campaign reporting and any optimization suggestions
Maintain knowledge of current DMP media trends
Ensures that all processes and procedures are completed, quality standards are met
Understanding of company capabilities and service, and effectively communicates all offerings to the sales, AM’s and clients
Reports to the Associate Director, Audience Monetization providing regular input on all audience monetization activity, on a bi-weekly basis
Identify opportunities within the account for up selling and cross selling and work closely with the Account Executive on proposals for new business
Attend weekly meetings with DMP Partners
Manage the process of defining audiences to be targeted, sharing data with partners, and tracking and compiling performance reports regarding audience groups
Lead or participate in project work that is assigned by associated director
Attend weekly Ad Operations team meetings
Build & maintain Looker Dashboards
Running SQL queries on Google Big Query (GBQ), Google Cloud Storage (GCS), Looker
Maintain data automation application such as APIs, Apache Airflow for data related tasks
B.A. or B.S., preferably in Marketing, Advertising, or Data Science
2 years + experience in digital media or agency or publisher
Experience working with Data Management Platforms (DMP’s), i.e., Permutive, Lotame, Krux, Adobe, etc.
Experinece in Phython
Working knowledge of 1st & 3rd party audience segmentation
Solid understanding of data collection, activation, and measurement concepts within the digital marketing space
Experience in SQL or equivalent is required
Looker/Google Data Studio or equivalent experience
Strong Communication skills
Previous Sales Support experience is a must
Preferred Qualifications / Competencies:
Experience in Google Ad Manager ad server is preferred
Working experience in APIs, Apache Airflow, and Python is a huge advantage
Comfortable with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
French-English bilingualism is an asset
Bilingualism is an asset (English and French); adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
