Dog Walks Cat Sitters Pet Care Montreal is seeking reliable and caring pet care professionals to provide exceptional care for pets in the Rive Sud area. This role involves walking dogs, feeding, administering medication if needed, and offering companionship to both dogs , cats small animals Ideal candidates are passionate about animals, communicative , attentive to detail, and committed to ensuring pets’ well-being. This position offers flexible scheduling and an opportunity to make a positive impact on pet owners’ lives while working in a rewarding environment.
Responsibilities
- Planning , organization and mapping visits
- Take dogs on scheduled walks, ensuring safety and engagement during outings
- Feed and provide fresh water for cats and dogs according to owners’ instructions
- Administer medication or special care as required by pet owners
- Offer companionship and playtime to pets to promote their happiness and health
- Monitor pets’ behavior and report any concerns or health issues to owners promptly
- Maintain cleanliness of pet areas and ensure tidiness of homes
- Follow specific instructions from pet owners regarding feeding, exercise, and care routines
- Build trusting relationships with pets and their owners through consistent, compassionate service
Experience
- Previous experience caring for dogs and cats is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Strong customer service skills are essential for communicating effectively with pet owners
- Passion for animals and genuine love for pets are highly valued qualities
- Ability to handle multiple pets safely and responsibly in a professional manner
- Reliable, punctual, with excellent attention to detail in following care instructions
