What You'll Be Doing
- Safely operate Class 1 trucks with gooseneck, fifth-wheel, and bumper-pull trailers.
- Transport heavy equipment, machinery, oilfield equipment, construction materials, and oversized loads.
- Secure loads using proper tie-down techniques and ensure compliance with provincial and federal regulations.
- Complete pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections.
- Accurately complete logbooks, inspection reports, trip paperwork, and electronic documentation.
- Plan routes and communicate effectively with dispatch and customers.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional truck and trailer.
- Represent North Twin Industries professionally at customer sites.
- Follow all company safety policies, JSAs, and standard operating procedures.
- Assist with loading and unloading equipment when required.
QualificationsRequired
- Valid Class 1 Driver's Licence
- Clean driver's abstract
- Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience
- Experience hauling with gooseneck or equipment trailers
- Strong understanding of load securement regulations
- Able to work extended hours and travel as required
- Excellent communication skills
- Physically capable of lifting, climbing, and securing loads safely
Preferred
- Oilfield or industrial transportation experience
- Winch experience
- Oversize load experience
- Equipment operating experience
- Forklift certification
- First Aid/CPR
- H2S Alive
- CSTS 2020
- WHMIS
- TDG
