Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will provide professional massage services to clients, promoting relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being. This role requires a strong understanding of various massage techniques and excellent customer service skills to ensure a positive client experience. The Massage Therapist will work in a serene environment dedicated to health and relaxation, contributing to clients' physical and mental health.
Duties
- Perform professional massage therapy sessions tailored to individual client needs, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, or other modalities.
- Assess clients' physical condition and discuss their wellness goals to develop personalized treatment plans.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and relaxing environment for clients before, during, and after treatments.
- Keep detailed records of treatments provided and monitor client progress over time.
- Educate clients on post-treatment care and recommend appropriate wellness practices or exercises.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper sanitation procedures.
- Manage appointment scheduling efficiently to maximize client satisfaction and practice productivity.
Skills
- Proficiency in various massage techniques with the ability to customize treatments based on client needs.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology related to anatomy and physiology.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming and calming atmosphere for clients.
- Effective communication skills to clearly explain treatment options and address client concerns.
- Ability to maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and a compassionate attitude at all times.

Patient Care
- Provide high-quality, evidence-informed massage therapy treatments

- Encourage consistency and adherence to treatment plans

Collaboration
- Work closely with physiotherapists and clinic team

- Maintain accurate and timely clinical notes
- Follow all regulatory and hygiene standards
- Keep treatment space clean and organized
Requirements
- Registered and in good standing with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario
- Valid professional liability insurance
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional, reliable, and patient-focused mindset
