Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate project cost estimates, analyzing project plans, and collaborating with clients and internal teams to ensure successful project execution. This role requires strong skills in construction estimating, project management, and negotiation, with proficiency in industry-standard tools such as Bluebeam and HeavyBid. The Estimator will play a vital role in securing new projects and maintaining competitive pricing strategies, contributing to the overall success of our organization.
Responsibilities
- Review and interpret project plans, specifications, and drawings to develop comprehensive estimates.
- Utilize Bluebeam software to prepare detailed cost proposals.
- Analyze material, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs to ensure accurate pricing.
- Collaborate with project managers, clients, and vendors to negotiate pricing and scope of work.
- Develop bid strategies that align with company goals while maintaining competitiveness.
- Prepare and present detailed bid proposals in a clear and professional manner.
- Monitor industry trends and market conditions to update estimating practices accordingly.
- Assist in the development of project budgets and schedules as needed.
- Support project management teams during project execution to ensure estimates are aligned with actual costs.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction estimating, with a strong understanding of construction processes and materials.
- Proficiency in Bluebeam.
- Excellent negotiation skills to secure favorable terms with vendors and clients.
- Strong project management capabilities to coordinate multiple bids simultaneously.
- Knowledge of pricing strategies within the construction industry.
- Ability to analyze complex drawings and specifications accurately.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Pay: $45,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
