WE ARE HIRING "Coordinator, Port & Rail" (1 Year Fixed Term - Full time, Bilingual-Korean/English)
Position Summary
In this position you will be required to manage the day-to-day vehicle operations at port, including vehicle handling, loading, unloading, storage, and movement. Support rail transportation operations by maintaining rail-related data, tracking rail loading and shipment status, monitoring dwell time, and preparing operational reports to ensure accurate visibility of vehicle movement and port inventory. Coordinate with internal teams, port operators, rail carriers, and logistics partners to support smooth and efficient operations.
Responsibilities
- Support daily port operations, including vehicle handling, loading, unloading, storage, and movement.
- Update and maintain port inventory, rail loading status, shipment records, transit updates, and dwell time data.
- Assist with daily operational reports related to port inventory, rail-out status, shipment progress, and vehicle movement.
- Monitor customer customs clearance status and follow up with internal teams or related parties when updates are needed.
- Support rail shipment tracking by checking railcar information, loading status, departure status, and delivery progress.
- Help identify data errors, missing updates, or delays, and report them to the supervisor or relevant team members.
- Maintain accurate records in internal systems and shared reports for KPI tracking, customer updates, and internal communication.
- Support ad hoc operational requests from customers, internal teams, and management as needed.
Education
- An Associate Degree in Business, Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or Information Systems is preferred.
Experience
- 1-2 years of experience in Automotive, Business Analysis or a related field is preferred.
Skills
- Bilingual in Korean is an asset.
- Strong time management and critical thinking skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Proficiency in computer software and systems for record-keeping and reporting.
- Attention to detail and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
