Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Oil Burner Mechanic to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting oil burners and related mechanical systems. Your expertise will ensure optimal performance of heating systems across diverse commercial and industrial settings. Responsibilities
- Install, calibrate, and service oil burners and associated heating equipment according to manufacturer specifications and schematics
- Perform routine maintenance on boilers, HVAC systems, appliances, and mechanical components to ensure efficient operation
- Diagnose mechanical issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools; execute repairs promptly
- Conduct welding and plumbing tasks as needed for system repairs or upgrades
- Read and interpret technical schematics to troubleshoot complex mechanical problems effectively
- Maintain detailed service records, work logs, and inspection reports for all completed work
- Collaborate with team members on construction projects involving heating systems or mechanical installations
Qualifications
- Proven mechanic experience with oil burners, boilers, or HVAC systems
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and technical manuals
- Skilled in plumbing, welding, appliance repair, and general construction practices
- Knowledge of HVAC systems and boiler operations is highly desirable
- Experience working with maintenance procedures in commercial or industrial environments
- Ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues efficiently using diagnostic tools
- Valid certifications related to plumbing, welding or HVAC are preferred
