Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Servers to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional guest experiences. Prior restaurant or food industry experience is preferred but not required, as training will be provided. Duties
- Take customer orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality.
- Handle cash transactions, process payments, and perform cashiering duties with accuracy.
- Provide friendly and attentive guest service, addressing any special requests or concerns.
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are upheld during food handling and service.
- Assist in food preparation tasks when necessary, supporting kitchen staff as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations throughout shifts.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities.
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods.
- Follow all sanitation, safety, and health regulations to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.
Skills
- Proficiency with POS systems, especially Micros POS, for order entry and cashiering.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tables simultaneously.
- Knowledge of food handling, safety procedures, and sanitation standards in the food industry.
- Previous restaurant experience or background in food service is advantageous but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and bill calculations.
- Experience with food preparation or kitchen operations is a plus.
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest satisfaction and sales revenue.
- Good communication skills to coordinate effectively with kitchen staff and guests.
