We are a newer restaurant seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. We are a smokehouse restaurant with our focus on slow cooked meats and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our staff and guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to delivering high-quality meals in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in meal preparation, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to perfection while adhering to food safety and handling standards.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards.
- Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and measuring spices.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, ensuring all cooking stations are tidy.
- Follow food safety protocols and guidelines to ensure safe food handling practices.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service during peak hours.
- Help with inventory management by tracking supplies and notifying management of low stock levels.
- Participate in daily kitchen operations, including cleaning equipment and utensils after use.

- Proficient in food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment operation.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in the food industry.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow recipes accurately.
