Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of menu items according to established recipes and standards
- Serve food to customers efficiently and courteously, ensuring a positive dining experience
- Handle food with proper safety and hygiene practices in accordance with food safety regulations
- Assist in food presentation and garnishing to enhance visual appeal
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and dining areas, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces
- Follow all health and safety guidelines related to food handling and kitchen operations
- Support team members during busy periods, ensuring smooth restaurant operations
- Manage inventory levels for ingredients and supplies, notifying management of shortages
Requirements
- Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food handling safety standards
- Strong understanding of the importance of food safety and sanitation practices
- Excellent serving skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends or holidays if needed
