UHome Mart is opening a brand-new retail store in Kitchener and we're looking for reliable, energetic team members to help keep our store clean, organized, and welcoming every day.
As a Store Support Associate, you'll play an important role in creating a safe and enjoyable shopping experience for our customers while supporting the operations team.
What You'll Do
- Clean and sanitize customer and employee washrooms. Collect shopping carts from the parking lot and return them to the store. Empty garbage and recycling bins throughout the store. Sweep, mop, and maintain clean sales floor areas. Clean entrance doors, windows, and other high-touch surfaces. Restock washroom supplies. Respond quickly to spills and other safety concerns. Help keep the front entrance and parking lot clean and organized. Assist with light stocking, merchandising, and store recovery when needed. Complete daily cleaning and maintenance checklists. Follow all company health and safety procedures. Perform other duties as assigned by management.
What We're Looking For
- Dependable and punctual. Self-motivated and able to work independently. Friendly, positive attitude. Strong attention to detail. Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions. Able to stand, walk, bend, lift, and push shopping carts throughout the shift. Able to lift up to 50 lbs. Retail or cleaning experience is an asset but not required.
Schedule
- Evening shifts from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM Approximately 9–18 hours per week Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
