We are located in a new facility in Acheson which is
located 5 mins from Edmonton on Highway 16 (Yellowhead
Trail). In our facility we have for you an onsite
cafeteria, outdoor courtyard, brand new offices and
manufacturing facilities, as well as access to an active
social club.
We are currently seeking an Administrative Assistant.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support to managers,
supervisors, and staff
  • Responsible for organized and proficient data entry
  • Responsible for formatting documentation in Microsoft
Word and Excel to ensure that it is consistent with
Powell's Guidelines
  • Combile data for various functions including Sales,
Estimating, Operations and Quality and present in a
professional manner utilizing Microsoft Excel and
  • Prepare meeting minutes, record decisions, schedule
and coordinate meetings, and prepare documents and
  • Provide receptionist service if necessary, greet
customers or clients, answer any questions for customers
or clients, answer and direct phone lines, and respond
to inquiries
  • Answer phones and emails of clients and customers
while providing helpful, professional, and exceptional
customer service reflective of the organization.

  • 2-3 years of Administrative experience preferably in a
related industrial industry
  • Accommodating, personable and comfortable with a
variety of different clients and customers
  • Highly organized and able to handle a high workload
while having strong attention to detai
  • Able to solve minor problems and address concerns
while having little to no supervision.
  • Able to effectively communicate with both managers and
colleagues on a regular basis
  • Effective and efficient written communication skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office with direct
experience in Excel as well as Oracle software
