Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our clients and visitors, providing exceptional customer support while managing various clerical tasks. This role requires a friendly demeanor, strong organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced, wellness-focused environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome clients and visitors in a warm and professional manner
- Manage phone systems, including answering calls, directing inquiries, and taking messages as needed
- Schedule and manage appointments
- Support and coordinate client check-ins and check-outs
- Handle direct billing with insurance companies
- Perform accurate data entry to ensure client information is up to date
- Assist with clerical duties such as filing, proofreading documents, and preparing correspondence
- Maintain a clean and organized clinic to create a welcoming environment
- Manage laundry, including sheets and towels for the clinic
Schedule & Availability
- Monday to Friday 9am to 2.30pm
- Must have reliable transportation
Experience & Qualifications
- Previous experience in a massage therapy, physiotherapy, or dental clinic is required
- Prior experience using Jane App is preferred
- Proficiency with phone systems and customer service best practices
- Strong typing skills with attention to detail for data entry and proofreading
- Familiarity with clerical tasks and general office procedures
- Experience using Google Suite or similar software applications is an asset
