Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Flooring Installer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in flooring installation, and related carpentry work. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilizing a variety of tools and techniques to deliver high-quality results. Candidates should be reliable, safety-conscious, and capable of reading blueprints to ensure precise installation.
Duties
- Install various types of flooring materials including hardwood, laminate, vinyl, and tile according to project specifications
- Measure and cut materials accurately using hand tools and power tools
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure correct placement and layout
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and repairing as needed before installation
- Perform tile laying with precision, ensuring proper adhesion and alignment
- Use carpentry skills for framing, trimming, and finishing details around flooring installations
- Apply caulking and sealing techniques to ensure a clean finish and prevent water infiltration
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris properly
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and safely
Experience
- Proven experience in flooring installation or related construction work is preferred
- Familiarity with hand tools such as saws, drills, chisels, and measuring devices
- Knowledge of construction practices including blueprint reading and basic carpentry skills
- Experience with tile laying, caulking, and handyman tasks is a plus
- Ability to read technical drawings accurately and translate them into physical work sites
- Prior experience working in residential or commercial settings is advantageous

Pay: $23.00-$38.00 per hour
