Home Child Care Provider
We are seeking a reliable, caring, and experienced Home Child Care Provider to care for two young children (ages 3 years and 18 months) in a private household setting.
Position Details
- Position: Home Child Care Provider / Nanny
- Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
- Work Location: Private residence in Burlington
- Start Date: As soon as possible
- Schedule: 40hrs/week, sometimes weekend
Duties and Responsibilities
- Supervise and care for children in employer’s residence
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks
- Organize age-appropriate educational and recreational activities
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
- Assist with children’s daily routines, including dressing, hygiene, and naps
- Transport children to activities, school or appointments if required
- Light housekeeping related to the children (tidying play areas, children’s laundry, meal cleanup)
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of professional childcare experience
- Valid driver’s license
- Current CPR and First Aid certification
- Valid Vulnerable Sector Check / Criminal Record Check
- Ability to work flexible hours including occasional weekends
- English language ability required
Compensation:
$20/hr
