Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and motivated Sales Assistant/Cashier (Full-Time and Part-Time) to join our retail team. Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs
- Operate POS systems accurately for cash handling and transactions
- Conduct product demos and provide detailed information about merchandise
- Upsell products and promote special offers to enhance sales opportunities
- Manage merchandising displays to ensure attractive presentation of products
- Handle customer inquiries both in person and via phone with professionalism
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area
- Process returns, exchanges, and refunds efficiently
- Ensure accurate cash handling and balance cash register at the end of shifts
- Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth store operations
Skills
- Excellent communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus
- Strong customer service orientation with a friendly demeanor
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy
- Experience with POS systems and cashiering procedures
- Knowledge of retail sales, merchandising, and product demonstrations
- Ability to upsell effectively while maintaining customer satisfaction

Pay: $14.00-$28.39 per hour
