Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Baker. This role is essential in creating beautiful and delicious sourdough bread and pastries that delight our customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in baking and sourdough baking, along with the ability to work with a team. You will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, ensuring that all breads are prepared, and packaged to meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
Responsibilities
- Prepare various baked goods, including sourdough breads, pastries, and desserts, adhering to recipes and food safety standards.
- Assist in food preparation tasks, including mixing ingredients and operating kitchen equipment safely.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, following food handling and safety protocols.
- Package finished products for display or delivery while ensuring quality presentation.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow during busy periods.
Qualifications
- Experience in sourdough bread shaping and baking
- Previous restaurant or kitchen experience preferred, particularly in the food industry.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
- The ability to communicate effectively with team members.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices for food handling.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards.

Pay: $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 45 per week
