We are looking for lifeguards to join our summer team for event/birthday party bookings, paid on-call shifts, and coverage shifts. Perfect for lifeguards looking for some extra income.
Vantage Aquatics provides lifeguard and pool management services for condo, apartment, hotel, government, and residential pools.
At Vantage Aquatics, we pride ourselves on reliability, professionalism, and zero missed shifts. Our lifeguards are expected to represent the company with maturity and strong communication skills while maintaining the highest safety standards.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor pool area continuously to enforce rules and prevent accidents
- Respond to first aid and emergency situations in accordance with training and company procedures.
- Fill out various reports as required
- Test the pool chemicals as required
- Perform maintenance tasks such as brushing, skimming, vacuuming, and backwashing (training will be provided)
- Add chemicals as required
- Provide top-notch customer service to residents and guests.
- Ensure resident-only use of the facilities
- Work at a variety of pool types and locations
- Work paid on-call shifts as required
Qualifications:
- You MUST possess a current National Lifeguard - Pool and a Standard First Aid with CPR “C” certification.
- Prior experience lifeguarding is required.
- Experience at outdoor class B pools is a huge asset.
- Must be responsible.
- Must possess good time management skills.
- Must possess good customer service skills.
- Must be able to meet the NL standards at all times throughout employment.
- Ability and willingness to work outdoors at a variety of pool types and locations.
- Ability to lift pool equipment and chemical containers safely.
- Must be reliable - attendance is strictly enforced.
