Technicians are expected to stay responsive and reachable during weekday business hours.
Fast communication is extremely important in this role, as many clients request multiple estimates from competing companies.
Responsive contractors typically receive more projects and generate higher earnings.

IMPORTANT – QUOTING & CLIENT COMMUNICATION EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
This role is best suited for experienced contractors who understand how to properly assess and price handyman and construction projects.
Technicians are expected to:
- Understand labour and material costs
- Calculate materials accurately
- Prepare realistic and competitive estimates
- Understand local market pricing
- Communicate professionally with clients during site visits
- Follow up with leads in a timely manner
- Represent the company professionally
We do not place artificial caps on project pricing, however quotes must remain fair, reasonable, and competitive within the local market.
Contractors who significantly overprice projects will naturally lose work to competitors.
This role is ideal for someone who understands both the technical and customer-service side of the business.

SMARTPHONE REQUIREMENT (IMPORTANT)
Your smartphone is one of your primary work tools.
Technicians must have a modern smartphone and be comfortable using it throughout the day for communication and documentation.
Your phone will be used for:
- Receiving project details and job instructions
- Viewing client photos and scope information
- Communicating with clients and our team
- Taking before-and-after project photos
- Sending updates from job sites
- Managing scheduling and estimates
If you are not comfortable using your smartphone regularly for work communication, this role will not be a good fit.
