You will play a key role in supporting our autonomous robotic fleet throughout its lifecycle. Working alongside engineering, product, and operations teams, you will help assemble, prepare, test, deploy, and support robots in real-world environments. Your work will be instrumental in helping Optimotive scale and fulfill our goal of building the robotic workforce of tomorrow, today.

Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in the assembly, integration, and preparation of autonomous robots
- Prepare, deploy, and support robots in testing, demonstration, and customer environments
- Perform routine inspections, setup, and readiness checks to ensure fleet reliability
- Operate and monitor robots during field testing and deployment activities
- Troubleshoot operational issues and support robot recovery when required
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and operations teams to improve robot performance and capabilities
- Document testing results, observations, and field feedback to support continuous improvement
- Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient working environment both in the workshop and in the field
Basic Qualifications:

- Hands-on mindset with the ability to learn new tools, systems, and technologies
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt in dynamic environments
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills

- Ability to lift and move equipment and perform physical tasks as required
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Valid passport and ability to travel to the United States as required for testing, deployments, and customer support activities
Preferred Qualifications:
- Interest in robotics, automation, autonomous systems, and emerging technologies
- Experience working in construction, automotive, manufacturing, logistics, agriculture, or other hands-on environments
- Mechanical aptitude and comfort using tools, equipment, or machinery
- Experience troubleshooting problems and finding practical solutions in the field
- Exposure to testing, validation, quality assurance, or continuous improvement activities
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across teams
- Previous experience in a startup, Agile environment, or other fast-paced workplace

- Postsecondary education in robotics, engineering, technology, skilled trades, automotive, manufacturing, construction, or a related field is considered an asset
- Equivalent hands-on experience, training, or demonstrated aptitude will also be considered
