We are looking for friendly staff to join our team at our busiest location in Whistler, for the summer season.
Serving excellent coffee, a to-go sandwich menu, and a selection of draft beers & cocktails - we are looking for talented Baristas and skilled all-rounders to join the team. Our team is cross-trained to work in all areas of the cafe, including our kitchen and cleaning duties.
The ideal candidate:
- Loves great coffee and has previous barista experience-Has some basic kitchen experience (food safe practices, food preparation, ability to follow recipes)- Has flexible availability - we are open from 7am-6pm-Must be available to work the weekends- Enjoys providing friendly customer service and giving our locals & visitors a great experience- Is a positive, hard-worker who wants to build connections within our community and team-Is sticking around for the summer season!
The positions:
- This role includes: barista, counter-service, food preparation, beer and liquor service, cafe cleaning.- Free staff meal for full shifts, unlimited coffee bar drinks, staff discount at all Forecast Coffee locations.- Serving It Right required, Food Safe an asset-Potential to move into a Supervisor role for the summer season-Both FT and PT positions available (priority given to FT)
