Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Night Auditor to join our hospitality team. The Night Auditor plays a vital role in ensuring smooth overnight operations, maintaining accurate financial records, and providing exceptional guest service during the nighttime hours. This position is ideal for individuals with hospitality experience who thrive in a quiet, independent work environment and possess strong communication skills.
Duties
- Conduct nightly audits of hotel financial transactions, including verifying billing and payment accuracy
- Prepare and review daily reports to ensure all data is accurate and complete
- Handle guest check-ins and check-outs during overnight hours, providing friendly and professional service
- Respond to guest inquiries via multi-line phone systems with excellent phone etiquette
- Assist guests with requests, complaints, or special accommodations to enhance their stay
- Maintain security protocols by monitoring the premises during overnight shifts
- Update and manage front desk records, reservations, and guest accounts as needed
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms are ready and facilities are operational
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with a welcoming attitude toward guests
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication abilities
- Experience working at the front desk or in hospitality is preferred
- Ability to operate multi-line phone systems efficiently
- Multilingual or bilingual skills are a plus for serving diverse guests
- Knowledge of hotel operations, billing procedures, and guest services best practices
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours with minimal supervision
- Professional appearance and demeanor suitable for a hospitality environment
