Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Kitchen Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of golf course restaurant style dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Kitchen Cook will play a vital role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests through efficient meal preparation and food service.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, marinating, and assembling ingredients
- Ensure all food is handled safely and stored properly in compliance with food safety regulations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils
- Serve dishes promptly and accurately to ensure customer satisfaction
- Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination and ensure freshness
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service hours
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate needs for restocking ingredients and supplies
Requirements
- Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environment preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and meal presentation
- Understanding of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a busy kitchen setting
- Strong teamwork skills with excellent communication abilities
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including weekends and holidays if required
- Passion for serving high-quality meals and providing excellent customer service
