Job Overview
We are looking for a dependable and efficient Dishwasher to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in our kitchen. The Dishwasher plays a critical role in ensuring that dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are cleaned and ready for use, supporting smooth kitchen operations in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Wash dishes, glassware, cutlery, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment
- Operate dishwashing machines and hand-wash items as required
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing area, sinks, and storage spaces
- Ensure proper handling and storage of clean dishes and utensils
- Dispose of garbage and recyclables according to procedures
- Assist with basic kitchen cleaning tasks, including floors and surfaces
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times
- Support kitchen staff during peak service hours as needed
Requirements
- Previous dishwashing or kitchen experience is an asset but not required
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to cleanliness and detail
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs
- Willingness to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Food Handler Certification (or willingness to obtain one)
