Industrial Painter
Triangle Steel is Calgary's oldest structural steel fabricator with over 45 years' experience in steel fabrication and erection.

Triangle Steel is currently seeking a full-time Industrial Painter to join our team:
This full time Industrial Spray Painter position requires someone with skill, ambition and experience in the conventional steel industry.
In this demanding role, you will be an integral part of our shop team. This is a great opportunity to make significant contributions to our company and grow professionally with the business.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Mixing, thinning and application of specialized paint systems, multi coats on steel components
- Read and understand engineered drawings, plans and blueprints
- Familiar with different paint products, mixing, thinning and application processes
- Organizing daily paint with multiple sprays per shift
- Packaging components onto skids or in containers
- Competent use of equipment and tools including overhead cranes, hoists, blast machine, spray unit
- Surface preparation of steel including sand blasting and blast cleaning machine
- Stacking and tagging parts
- Occasional basic equipment maintenance
Qualifications:
- One or more years spray painting of structural steel component in a shop setting
- Physically fit and able to frequently lift in excess of 50 pounds
Salary: Depending on experience
