Silver Cove is looking for an organized, detail-oriented Event Logistics Assistant to support the planning and coordination of our Rock N' Gem Shows across Canada.
This position plays an important role in helping ensure our events are organized, fully staffed and ready for success. Working closely with the Marketing Manager, you'll help coordinate venue logistics, recruit temporary staff, manage event follow-ups and keep our event systems up to date.

What You'll DoTemporary Staffing
- Coordinate temporary staffing recruitment for events across Canada.
- Create and post recruitment advertisements on Kijiji and Facebook.
- Contact employment centres, colleges, universities and community organizations.
- Respond to applicant inquiries and schedule temporary staff.
- Maintain accurate staffing records and trackers.
Venue Coordination
- Research potential event venues.
- Contact venues and gather event information.
- Complete venue checklists.
- Coordinate follow-ups and maintain venue records.
- Request future booking dates after events.
Event Logistics
- Coordinate forklift bookings.
- Maintain event trackers and logistics records.
- Schedule follow-ups and Outlook reminders.
- Assist with pre-show preparation and administrative support as required.
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate is:
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Comfortable managing multiple projects at once.
- Confident communicating by phone, email and text.
- Comfortable using Facebook for recruitment and community outreach.
- Able to work independently while keeping the Marketing Manager informed.
- Professional, reliable and dependable.
- Comfortable learning new systems and following established procedures.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook and Excel).
- Willing to learn and continuously improve.

Schedule
This is a part-time position. Hours will vary depending on event schedules and operational requirements.
Additional hours may occasionally be available leading up to or during major local events.

Pay: $17.00-$19.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
