We are currently looking for a detail-oriented Inventory Assistant to work out of our Edmonton -South location. The inventory assistant will be primarily responsible for ensuring that accurate inventory levels / data entry are reflected and maintained in the ERP systems.
What you will be doing
Maintaining inventory accuracy by monitoring, validating, and tracking inventory moves associated with all operations processes
Investigating and escalating inventory discrepancies by striving to continuously refine procedures and processes to improve quality and accuracy
Responding to inventory related questions internally or from the customer
Reporting any inbound receipt discrepancies
Releasing sales orders
To be successful in this role you must
Have a great work ethic, be punctual, pay attention to the details, and genuinely enjoy helping people
Be proactive and demonstrate initiative by providing input and recommendations to continually improve processes, procedures, and the delivery of our customer experience
Be a quick study when it comes to computers software and systems
Have a good understanding of inventory and supply chain procedures
Have outstanding oral and written communication skills
