Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Barista to join our team in creating exceptional coffee experiences for our customers. As a Barista, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality service and ensuring customer satisfaction in a fast-paced café environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages and food items according to established recipes and standards.
- Operate the POS systems for order processing and cash handling.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including equipment, utensils, and seating areas.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures.
- Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Assist with inventory management, including stock rotation and ordering supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and enhance overall customer experience.
Requirements
- Previous barista experience or relevant experience in the food industry is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers.
- Familiarity with POS systems is highly desirable.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and food preparation techniques.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
