The Warehouse/Forklift Associate position provides support to internal and external customers by demonstrating excellent customer service skills, personal safety responsibility, equipment care, and reliability. The successful candidate will be working with roofing materials and related building products. We use a combination of forklifts and manual labor to handle materials from flat bed trucks, pickup trucks, racking and warehouse floor storage areas. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Uphold Gibson’s Health & Safety policies and programs including safe operation of all equipment
· Build and nurture customer relationships
· Complete scheduled loading and unloading of deliveries in a safe and efficient manner
· Complete daily inspections of equipment and vehicles and accurately maintain required documentation
· Communicate effectively with other team members to complete daily and weekly goals
· Assist with basic metal shop activities such as handling, bending, and shaping metal materials when required

· At least 2 years of warehouse experience is required
· At least 2 years of forklift experience is required
· Building supply experience is an asset
· Experience or familiarity with metal shop work, including metal bending or shaping, is considered an asset but not required
PHYSICAL CONDITIONS
· Safely lift up to 80 lbs
· Lifting, pushing, pulling and bending required
SCHEDULE
· Monday to Friday
· 9-hour shifts
· 7AM – 4PM typically
· Occasional weekend work
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
