Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly customer service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS, ensuring quick and correct processing
- Handle cash transactions confidently, including cash handling and cashiering duties with precision
- Assist in food preparation and food handling to support kitchen staff when needed
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining areas, counters, and service stations
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables or customers efficiently during busy periods
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with strong guest service skills
- Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, for efficient order processing and cashiering
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume hours
- Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and transaction balancing
- Strong communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members
- Previous restaurant or food industry experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for hospitality is essential

Pay: From $17.60 per hour
