At Gabie's Boutique, we help dancers of every age and level feel confident, prepared, and excited for class. From a tiny dancer buying their very first ballet slippers to competitive dancers preparing for the season, every customer has a story—and we love being part of it.
We're looking for a permanent Part-Time Key Holder to join our Newmarket team.
This position is ideal for someone who:
- Has a dance background and misses being part of the dance community.
- Loves helping people and creating memorable customer experiences.
- Enjoys staying busy in a fun retail environment.
- Is dependable and comfortable working independently.
Availability
We're looking for someone with consistent daytime availability:
- Weekdays between 9:30 AM – 6:30 PM
- Some Saturdays
- Occasional Sundays
This is a permanent position and is not suitable for students returning to school in September.
As a Key Holder, you'll:
- Open and close the store.
- Help dancers and parents find the perfect shoes and apparel.
- Provide personalized fittings and product recommendations.
- Keep the boutique beautifully merchandised and organized.
- Support inventory, restocking, and store presentation.
- Deliver exceptional customer service every day.
We're looking for someone with:
- A dance background (former dancer, teacher, dance parent required).
- At least 3 years of retail experience.
- Previous Key Holder experience is an asset.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- The ability to lift boxes, climb ladders, and work in an active retail environment.
