Duties
- Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards
- Cook menu items efficiently while maintaining quality, consistency, and safety standards
- Handle food with care, ensuring proper storage, sanitation, and adherence to food safety regulations
- Assist with food prep tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients for service
- Support the kitchen team during busy hours by maintaining cleanliness and organization of workstations
- Follow serving protocols to ensure timely delivery of orders to guests
- Maintain a positive attitude and collaborate effectively with team members to deliver exceptional food service
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key!
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety regulations in a restaurant setting
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects safely, and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and organization
