Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Real Estate Conveyancing Legal Assistant to support our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills, excellent communication abilities, and a keen eye for detail. This role involves managing real estate transactions - sales, purchases, mortgages.
Responsibilities
- Assist lawyer with drafting and proofreading legal documents related to real estate transactions
- Manage timelines and coordinate tasks to ensure timely completion of transactions
- Experience with PC law accounting software
- Support the team with administrative tasks including filing, document preparation, and correspondence
- Maintain professional phone etiquette when communicating with clients and team members
- Assist with legal drafting, reviewing contracts, and preparing documentation for transactions
Qualifications
- Proven administrative experience with strong organizational skills
- Excellent proofreading, writing, and research skills
- Familiarity with legal drafting and document review processes
- Clerical experience including filing, data entry, and maintaining records
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills with professional phone etiquette
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating effectively within a team
