We are seeking a reliable and hardworking General Labourer to support daily operations in a ship repair and shipyard environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, working outdoors, and being part of a marine trades team.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist skilled trades with ship repair and refit work
General cleanup of vessels and yard areas
Material handling, loading/unloading, and moving equipment
Support surface preparation, painting, and basic mechanical tasks
Follow all safety procedures and shipyard regulations
Qualifications:
Previous labour or construction experience preferred (shipyard or marine experience an asset)
Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors and around vessels
Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
Strong safety awareness; PPE required
Valid driver’s license required
