Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Construction Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in various construction tasks, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and safely. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to following safety protocols on the job site.
Responsibilities
- Perform general labor tasks such as digging, lifting, and carrying materials, sweeping, cleaning, vacuuming, minor handyman work.
- Operate basic hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment by removing debris and ensuring tools are stored properly.
- Follow all safety guidelines and regulations to minimize risks on the job site.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding project progress and any issues that arise.
- Assist in loading and unloading materials from trucks or storage areas.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in construction or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 pounds).
- Familiarity with basic hand tools and power tools is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration.
- Willingness to learn new skills and techniques related to construction work.
- Must be able to work in various weather conditions and environments.
