Whiting Equipment Canada Inc. is seeking a Shop/Road Technician for heavy equipment to service Trackmobile equipment at both their shop and customer sites. The role involves troubleshooting, repairs, and service reporting, with a focus on safety and customer satisfaction. Ideal candidates should be enthusiastic team players interested in working with a diverse range of products. This role works in the Trackmobile Product group reporting to the Product Support Manager.

In a typical day, you will:
- Demonstrate safe, environmentally sound and healthy work behaviours at all times, in support of Whiting’s Health and Safety Policies, Programs and initiatives
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems using Trackmobile testing equipment
- Repair and service Trackmobile and all heavy equipment within the established standards
- Prepare accurate service and repair reports in a timely manner
- Maintain excellent customer relations through frequent communication
- Undertake assignments as required in support of customer needs
Must-haves for this role:
- A valid Technician License 421A, 310T, 310S or any other license relative to this position, following Provincial standards
- Minimum 3 years of experience in repair and service of heavy equipment both in the shop and in the field
- Familiarity with Can Bus systems
- A valid Driver's License (DZ License preferred), or willing to obtain.
Working Conditions
- Shop/Factory setting with temperature variations
- Standard hours with overtime , overnight travel (on occasion) or weekend work may be required to meet deadlines or complete urgent repairs
- Exposure to dust and fumes
- Heavy lifting, moving and assembling equipment and components
- Significant amount of time walking, standing, climbing and crouching
- Exposure to noisy environment
