Essence of the role:
KPI is seeking an energetic, intelligent and passionate individual to join our Team. Working under the President, the candidate will guide financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and procedures. The candidate will protect assets by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing internal controls.

As a Financial Controller we expect the following:
Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL and Counsel, Cost Accounting, Payroll and Revenue Recognition
Preparation of Budgets, financial forecasts & Report variances
Manage all insurance including Group, Office, Liability, Errors & Omissions
Recommend benchmarks against which to measure the performance of company operations
Calculate and issue financial and operating metrics
Provide for a system of management cost reports
Provide financial analyses as needed, in particular for capital investments, pricing decisions, and contract negotiations
Coordinate the provision of information to external auditors for the annual audit
Seek & Manage Government Grants
Certifications for Corporate, Departmental & Personal

As an Operations Manager we expect the following:
Manage all internal applications, implementation, and maintenance including:

Accounting
Time sheet systems
Customer Support tracking & monitoring
Project management
All elements of Office 365
Resource planning
Bonus & Commission processing
Document Repository & Management
External applications (IBM, CRM, Forecasting)
Certifications for Corporate, Departmental & Personal

Required Qualifications:
Certified Public Accountant or Certified Management Accountant designations is required
7+ years of experience, ideally in the professional services field
You have an intense desire to optimize & improve internal procedures as well as collaborate with, and support clients, sales team and business team members alike
Bilingual in English and French (written and spoken)
