Job Summary
We are urgently seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care, assisting the dentist during procedures, and ensuring that the dental office runs smoothly. This position requires a strong understanding of dental assisting practices, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining a welcoming environment for patients.
Duties
- Assist the dentist during examinations and various dental procedures.
- Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as required.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow within the office.
- Handle administrative tasks, including billing and insurance verification when necessary.
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure high-quality patient care.
Experience
- Previous experience in dental assisting is preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry is beneficial.
- Previous roles as a dental receptionist can enhance your application; familiarity with office management tasks is valued.

This Job will be part-time: specifically available on Fridays only.
Pay: $34.00-$39.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8.0 – 10.0 per week
